Founded in 1997, Oasis – A Haven for Women and Children is a non-profit organization daily assisting over 700 women, teens, and children living in need in the Greater Paterson area break the cycle of poverty through programs designed to feed, clothe, educate and empower. These programs include adult education classes, workforce readiness training, youth development activities, and basic social services all under one roof at 59 Mill Street, just blocks from the Paterson Great Falls National Historical Park.

Oasis provides the tools necessary for women and children to successfully move from poverty to self-sufficiency.

The mission of Oasis is to change the lives of women and children by breaking the cycle of poverty through compassionate programs designed to feed, clothe, educate, and empower women and children in need.

Larry’s goal is to raise in excess of $1,000,000 and to reach over 25,000,000 people through “Strides for Humanity.”
